How do customers pay a VERA invoice?
Customers pay by card through a hosted payment link on the invoice, and cheques and cash are recorded by hand so one ledger shows everything. VERA tracks what has been requested, what is processing and what has actually been collected, and never counts in-flight money as revenue. Payouts and fees are shown per payment.

Card payments built in
Customers pay from a link. Card numbers go straight to our payment processor and are not stored by VERA.
The other two thirds
Plenty of this work is still paid by cheque and cash. Record those against the invoice and revenue reflects money that actually landed.
In-flight money is not collected money
A payment that is processing is shown as processing. Revenue counts what has cleared, so the number on the dashboard is one you can act on.
